This week we are launching some new features on The Art Boulevard, find out how to use these new tools to your advantage:
When you publish an opportunity on your profile or announce your next event, this will automatically be published in The Café, for all our users to see!
In this new section you’ll find job offers, calls for entry, competitions, grants, calls for collaboration and much more! At first, you’ll see a lot of opportunities created by us, however this space is for YOU so we encourage you to publish your own opportunities and use it to search and find other creative souls with whom you can fulfil your projects and ideas!
For example: the arts manager
Imagine you need to set up a programme for your arts venue, or you want to launch a call for entry for up-and-coming artists. All you need to do is create an opportunity on your profile and it will immediately appear in the Café!
Unfortunately, public venues such as exhibition spaces, concert halls, or arts centres often end up lying empty or reducing their activity programmes due to budget limitations or cuts. Why not bring your programme back to life and make good use of this empty space by offering it to up-and-coming artists? In the opportunities section, you can express your interest in hosting young artists and specify the conditions under which you would accept proposals.
And for the artists:
Would you like to be part of a collective exhibition with other young artists and find a venue to exhibit or perform? Are you a writer in need of an illustrator for your book cover? Or a musician in search of a poet to help inspire your lyrics? Create an opportunity and tell the world what you’re looking for!
From now on, every event that you create on your profile will be automatically published in the Café, a place where everyone will be able to search for events in their hometown and find out about yours!
Announce your next exhibition, concert, book launch, poetry reading, or any other event you are participating in or would simply like to share with the world!
