Composer, Media Artist and Researcher based in Oporto. Since 2010, he is a member of Digitópia at the Casa da Música Foundation, where he is a member of Digitópia Collective as well as a tutor and developer of the Digitópia Platform. Nowadays, he focuses his interests in Musical Composition, Alternative Interfaces, Automatic Music Generation Systems, and Interactive Installations. João is also an active contributor to the Jamoma framework, where he focuses his energies in the Jamoma userLib.
