Submissions are invited from individual artists or groups for inclusion in the 36th edition of eva International, 12 April – 6 July 2014, curated by Bassam El Baroni. Submissions can be in any medium and can be for the presentation of existing works or production of new projects. The online application process is now open and submissions can be made at any time up until the open call closes at 5pm Monday 2 September 2013. Artists can make up to 2 proposals and there is a submission fee of €20 for 1 proposal or €30 for 2 proposals. Bursaries for submission fees are available to artists from emerging and developing countries, as defined by the DAC list of ODA recipients. eva International is a not-for-profit organization where submission fees support selected artists and contribute directly to artists' production, travel, accommodation, transportation and exhibition budgets.
